Booking and Payment Arrangements
Bookings can be made by email: firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 07519 800899. Top Edge will send confirmation of booking by email at least two weeks before the course, or within two days of booking if within the two week period.
All payments must be made by cheque (payable to Top Edge Training), by cash or preferably through BACS.
Payment of the course delivery fee must be made in full at least one week before course. The additional per person fee must be paid no later than two weeks after the course, or two weeks after receipt of invoice.
Cancellation by Customer
There is no penalty if a place on an open course or an on-site booking is cancelled two weeks or more before the course.
50% of the fee will be charged if the booking is cancelled between one and two weeks before the course.
100% will be charged if the booking is cancelled within one week of the course. This policy is waived when the course is full and the cancelled place has been filled.
For courses lasting over two days or the total cost of the training or other service exceeds £1,000, a 50% deposit will be required at the time of booking.
Cancellation by Top Edge
In exceptional circumstances, a course may need to be cancelled or rescheduled. We reserve the right to cancel a course at any time and offer a reasonable alternative date and venue, or issue a credit or a refund without any liability for consequential or indirect loss.
In the event of a course being cancelled, customers will be contacted and given as much notice as possible and by two weeks prior to the course starting at the latest, unless cancellation is due to unforeseen and exceptional circumstances.
We must emphasise that a course cancellation by Top Edge Training is exceptional and would always be a last resort.
Maximum Numbers on Course
There is normally a maximum of 12 learners on each course. Exceptions may apply, please contact us for clarification.
Included in the Course Fee
The prices quoted for the training courses are inclusive of tutor, assessor (if relevant), course materials, assessment/exam processes and certificate. A course manual is included for all First Aid, Lifesaving, Pool Plant and Education and Training courses, but not for all Health and Safety, Food Safety and Sport and Leisure Management courses. Training packs will be provided for these courses, and manuals can be purchased for an additional fee.
The on-site training price quoted assumes the venue, refreshments and any other associated costs are all covered by the customer.
The on-site training price includes all travelling and expenses if the training is delivered in Sussex, Kent or Surrey. Additional fees to cover travelling expenses (mileage/transport and time) and other expenses (accommodation and subsistence) will apply for training delivered outside this area, unless agreed otherwise agreed.
